What are STEAMlabs?

STEAMlabs are an innovative way of sharing ideas, problem-solving and developing new concepts through challenge workshops. Set in a supportive environment, STEAMlabs use an interdisciplinary approach to find solutions for real-life business challenges.

These events usually take the form of intensive two-day workshops, which work as an idea catalyst for businesses and other organisations. You will experience collaborative working, learning and problem solving to develop innovative solutions. Alongside other SMEs, start-ups and sole traders, STEAMlabs offer you the opportunity to come up with new ideas, products and services.

Please send us an enquiry and we will contact you to discuss how we can help.

STEAMlabs hosts individuals across the STEAM sectors (science, technology, engineering, art and maths). By working with different industries, we can combine our skillsets, knowledge and expertise to develop new ways of working.

Our workshops are available to SMEs, start-ups and sole traders in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) region. Spaces tend to be limited, so please get in touch with us to find out more about how you can get involved.

There is no cost to join one of our STEAMlabs events. This is because our work is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Arts Council England.

  • New ways of thinking that you can apply to your business
